What this site is—and what it is not.
A public entry into a larger, ongoing VSI investigation of Southern Vermont and the tri-state region. We welcome constructive criticism and information that challenges our assumptions.
What is actually implemented here?
A JavaScript-guided question launcher with a local draft; a source-tracked education example in website, chapter and podcast-script formats; and an existing interactive Vermont Common Sense research module. This is an initial release candidate, not the complete VSI Boolean conversation, master index or cross-chat neural network.
What remains to be built?
Full patient- or citizen-paced AI interaction, local/hybrid model routing, safe consent-controlled contributions, source-grounded real-time retrieval, a finished regional content corpus, recorded podcasts, and operational cross-room associative discovery. Each must be separately tested.
What happens to my words?
The question launcher runs in your browser and saves a draft in its local storage on this device only. It does not send that draft to the VSI website. Following external links contacts those websites under their policies. Do not include private health information in a message to an outside service.
We respect practical experience and formal expertise alike, while asking factual claims to withstand scrutiny. The site's larger mission is connected research, not an argument for a predetermined conclusion.
